Chuseok Family Get-Together

We’ve had the week off for the largest Korean holiday, Chuseok. It’s the equivalent to our Thanksgiving, but we can only say that because others have told us. We haven’t actually experienced Chuseok and weren’t invited to do so this year.

So we had another  family over for dinner and dessert. It was like a really long distance play date, as the cherub had an opportunity to play with someone her own age. They had a ball and were really great together. She enjoys being social and we hope that we can give her more opportunities to hang out with other kids.

We didn’t know this family beforehand — K had been emailing the wife/mother since before we came to Korea — but we had a good time getting to know them. Here are some images from our day off at the Village.
